The Institute for Peace and Security (IPS) seeks to promote peace, security, and stability in Kosovo and the region. In an increasingly complex world IPS is focused on addressing current and emerging national and regional security risks framed by rapid political developments, evolving hybrid threats, and continuing challenges related to radicalization, violent extremism and terrorism with emphasis on underlying causes, contexts and opportunities.

IPS supports governments, civil society and the range of actors and stakeholders in their efforts to identify, address and counter the impacts of hybrid threats, radicalization, violent extremism and terrorism through resilience building focused research, analysis, and capacity building programs.

IPS seeks to transcend political, ethnic and gender boundaries and contribute to cross-border collaboration at all levels of society in order to meaningfully address political and societal vulnerabilities underpinning instability and conflict.
